Single MagnumDisk™
The Single MagnumDisk Barrier Valve is also used with completion packer BHAs and TCP BHAs as an underbalance device. In these applications, the MagnumDisk internal barrier device is removed by applying pressure from the surface with a MagnumDisk Drop Bar™ or a MagnumDisk Breaker Tool with slickline or coiled tubing.
RELIABLE
Once the tubing is landed, pressure is applied to create the overbalance for removing the MagnumDisk internal barrier device.
FLEXIBLE
The patented Single MagnumDisk Barrier Valve can be deployed in vertical, deviated or horizontal wellbores, delivering effective zonal isolation.
ECONOMICAL
The valve is a cost-effective alternative to a profile nipple and plug, eliminates plug and prong removal runs, and—with a redressing kit—is reusable.
