Nine announced today that Daniel Villanueva of Kilgore, TX, and Brandon Hill of Longview, TX, have each won a 2023 Ford F-150 XLT truck in Nine’s truck giveaway, which celebrates and recognizes employees’ extraordinary commitment to safety in the workplace and community.
Eighty employees, each of whom demonstrated outstanding safety track records, qualified for a chance to win one of two free trucks in the raffle giveaway ceremony that took place at Nine’s Kilgore facility on Wednesday, April 12.
Villanueva works as a Coil Operator for Nine’s Coiled Tubing division in Kilgore, TX, and has been with the company since May 2021.
Hill works as a Bulk Plant Lead for Nine’s Cementing division in Longview, TX, and has been with the company since November 2020.
To qualify for the giveaway, nominees earned one token from all four activity levels below over the past year by demonstrating exceptional safety commitment behavior, such as stopping work when conditions were not safe, wearing required protective equipment, or identifying hazards.
- Level 1: HSE Coordinator Recognition, awarded by a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) coordinator.
- Level 2: District Manager Recognition, awarded by the manager of the employee’s primary work location.
- Level 3: Regional Manager Recognition, awarded by the regional manager responsible for the region of the employee’s primary work location.
- Level 4: Segment Leader Recognition, awarded by the vice president, president of the employee’s business line or by the CEO.
